Start by visiting wordle.danielfrg.com from any device. The rules explanation will appear first. It’s easy: write a word and see if you got it right by the color of the letters:

If the letter is green, you guessed it correctly, it’s in the word, and it’s in the right box.
If the letter is yellow, it’s in the word but not in the right box.
You guess incorrectly and the letter is not in the word if it appears in yellow.

First, you’ll see a blank grid space after passing the introduction. Use the web keyboard to type a first word and press Enter. You’ll see the results with colors for letters you guessed and those you didn’t. To prevent accidental typing and losing opportunities, the keyboard disables letters that aren’t in the word.
